Fawn Mckay

Fawn MCK Brodie was born 15th September 1915 at Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, who was raised in the Mormon Church's First Family, used her literary talent and expertise in research to write an intriguing psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title"No Man Knows My History, she used both. The title of this book was inspired by a funeral speech delivered in 1844 by Church of Latter-Day Saints founder Joseph Smith. In that sermon he declared: "You do not know what I'm about and you've not seen my soul." No one knows about my past. Nobody knows my story. Fawn, a 29-year-old woman has written: "Since that moment of truthfulness, three or more writers have picked up the task." They do not have a lack of documents however they contradict each with respect to each other. The task of assembling the documents, of separating firsthand accounts from third-party plagiarism and integrating Mormon and non-Mormon accounts to create a picture that is plausible history. It's both thrilling and informative. Fawn brodie was professionally committed to the task. Her research as well as her writing earned her the world's attention: Thaddeus Stevens. The Devil drives (1959). The Life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate historical history (1974).
