Selleck was a star in a number of TV films during the new millennium. This included the Jesse Stone series in which he played the role of the role of a New England police chief. The actor was also the executive producer of the series and received another Emmy nomination for the role. Selleck plays a police commissioner who is part of an officer family that spans generations in Blue Bloods. The series premiered on CBS in the year 2010 and was later revived. Alongside Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg, he was part of Three Men and a Baby that was a massively popular comedy. It became the highest-grossing film ever.
